History of RV Astley

Established in 1971, our roots stem from importing and wholesaling table lamps, furnishing accessories and giftware. Steadily growing, we progressed to offer furniture, then mirrors and chandeliers.

Our first ranges were carefully selected from existing designs provided by our suppliers, but from early on we felt the need to be more involved and started to influence our manufacturers in both style and quality. We now have a dedicated design team, working to steer us in our own unique direction, providing you with exclusive, high quality lighting, furnishings and accessories.

 With an initial interest and specialism in antiques and reproduction, we are influenced by classic designers from the early 20th Century, taking the best from the past to create new and innovative ranges of lighting and furniture. With our feet firmly rooted in the present, we look back to classic French and English period designs to shape our style, tempering the decorative design to create elegant contemporary furnishings to fit with your modern lifestyle.
