Delivery Terms and Conditions


RV Astley Normal Delivery Service

Standard lead time is 48 hours (in the UK) if order is placed by noon and all items are in stock.

If item is out of stock standard lead-time is 6 - 12 weeks, unless otherwise stated.

All deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 9am and 5.00pm. Pallet deliveries must be signed for where possible.

For failed deliveries carriage charges will be applied for re-delivery.

Carriage to mainland England and Wales (Please see below for further details):

Minimum order value £350 net plus carriage
Carriage inclusive on all orders meeting minimum order value of £550 net

Carriage to Mainland Scotland:

Minimum order value £350 plus carriage
Carriage inclusive on all orders meeting minimum order value of £1000

Carriage to Northern Ireland:

Minimum order value £500 plus shipping costs
Carriage inclusive on all orders meeting minimum order value of £1000

Carriage to Republic of Ireland:

Minimum order value €750 plus shipping costs
Carriage inclusive on all orders meeting minimum order value of €2000. All deliveries are made DAP.

Carriage to British Islands:

Minimum order value £500 plus shipping costs
Carriage inclusive on all orders meeting minimum order value of £1500.

Carriage for International Deliveries (Please see below for details):

Minimum order value €1000 plus shipping costs
Carriage inclusive on all orders meeting minimum order value of €3500. All deliveries are made DAP.

Carriage is non-refundable.
All minimum order charges are exclusive of VAT
R V Astley will not be liable for damage or loss to goods being collected by a third party from our Aldridge or Airdrie warehouse

All statements and terms relating to delivery and rates of delivery are estimates only and shall not impose any contractual obligation on R.V. Astley Ltd. Although we aim to deliver by a specific date we cannot accept any liabilities for fitters charges etc, if we, or our carriers, fail to do so and orders are only accepted on this basis.

  • We only deliver to trade / residential addresses (residential only offered as per prior agreement)
  • White glove service available (subject to prior agreement)
  • The delivery driver is not responsible for unpacking, and disposing of the packing, or assembling of furniture, unless white glove service is purchased and agreed (subject to agreement and cost).

International Delivery Terms

  1. Please note that we will only deliver to commercial premises for all European deliveries. You will be assigned to our Dispatch Coordinator who will contact you on a weekly basis to keep you updated on your deliveries.
  2. You're always welcome to send your own transport company to collect the goods or collect yourself. If you wish to send your freight forwarder to collect directly from our warehouse, your orders can be pre-picked and ready to load. We will apply a 2.5% discount for doing so.
  3. Premier Packing available - this service includes extra wrapping plus photos of the packaging exterior, or packed to your requirements, although incremental charges do apply.
  4. Invoices including weights, commodity codes and country of origin supplied as standard
  5. Necessary documentation, depending on the country is available. However please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to inform us about any necessary documents required as this might take time for us to collate.
  6. Complete order cubic volume can be supplied if required by your shipper.
  7. Please note all of our deliveries are sent DAP. You will be informed of any additional costs once your is received.
  8. Pallet deliveries are made to kerbside only.
  9. In case the delivery address is not accessible for an international truck (52.5ft) a surcharge will be applied.
  10. For deliveries where a tail lift is required, a surcharge will be applied.
  11. Any changes for the delivery after the goods have been dispatched may lead to a delay and possible extra costs, which will be charged.
  12. For any delays at ports/customs we will endeavour to get things sorted as swiftly as possible, but please note these situations are out of our control.

Mainland UK Delivery Terms

  1. For UK deliveries, some orders will be transported on our own vans using our own drivers. These deliveries are to doorstep only. White Glove service is available upon request, at an additional cost.
  2. You're always welcome to send your own transport company to collect the goods or collect yourself. If you wish to send your freight forwarder to collect directly from our warehouse, your orders can be pre-picked and ready to load.

  5. Pallet deliveries are made to kerbside only.

  7. Tail lift deliveries included as standard
  8. Deliveries to a residential address are available via prior arrangement (Charges may apply)
  9. Any changes for the delivery after the goods have been dispatched may lead to a delay and possible extra costs, which will be charged.
